  4. This file gives information not found elsewhere in the
  5. Chartist software distribution.

  7. 1. Start Menu Cleanup.
  8.    We recommend that you uninstall any older versions of Chartist
  9.    or Chartist-2, or Chartist-Pro. If you did not do that, you may have some
  10.    extraneous entries on your Start Menu. You can clean them up
  11.    by right clicking on the menu bar, then choosing "Properties"
  12.    and following the directions in the dialogs.

  14. 2. Sample Files.
  15.    The sample files are located in the program directory. Under
  16.    current Windows versions, this is usually c:\Program Files\Chartist
  17.    unless otherwise installed.

  19. 3. User Manuals.
  20.    The user manual that is installed with the product is in HTML format.
  21.    You can display it with your browser. A menu entry is created with
  22.    the program for the user manual.

  24. 4. Web Site.
  25.    Check our web site, www.novagraph.com, from time to time to
  26.    see if there is any new information that might affect you.

  28. 5. Windows Version Differences.
  29.    Under Windows 98, and Me the size of a chart is still limited to 60
  30.    inches maximum in height and width. Under Windows NT, Windows 2000
  31.    and Windows XP, the maximum chart size is 300 inches in
  32.    height and width. The maximum printer resolution under Windows 98, etc.
  33.    is 1000 pixels per inch. The other operating systems have no such
  34.    limitation.

  36. 6. Additional Shape Definition Documentation
  37.    Refer to the file shapes.txt for some additional information
  38.    on advanced shape file operations.

  40. 7. If you dowloaded this program as a demo, the help file displays
  41.    an order form when you click on the "Order" button in the About Dialog.
